Since being established in 2008 Charter Profit Group Limited ("CPGL") has grown to become one of the leading small house contractors in Hong Kong. During this time we have been trusted by our clients to construct many of the modern design houses. The construction services provided by CPGL have contributed to the development of the New Territories, Hong Kong and have helped to create a better living place for the owner.

CPGL has developed a good network of various consulting specialists such as architectural, structural engineer, building services engineering, landscape, interior design and other specialists including environmental, traffic engineering, acoustic engineering, etc., providing the necessary working partners in design.

Contracting Civil Engineer

liaise and work jointly with the design team (consulting engineers) to implement refinements;
negotiate modifications with architects and consulting engineers;
deal skilfully with a diverse range of people including clients, architects, other engineering professionals, sub-contractors and members of the public;
take responsibility for health and safety on site;
make judgements and solve problems;
supervise construction;
deal with the logistics of supplies;
schedule work;
provide appropriate plans for construction;
monitor the provision of materials;
liaise with, and direct, the sub-contractors employed on the project;
ensure quality of workmanship;
find solutions to overcome unforeseen construction difficulties;
schedule and adjust each stage of the project to meet time and budget targets;
deal with any complaints from local people experiencing disruption due to building works.

Project Engineer

Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
